  • There's a real inbox now: hello@algoholic.ai, for questions, event listings, and account deletion.
  • Gallery submissions are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, and the submit form says so.
  • Privacy page updated to cover the gallery and to list exactly who runs the pipes.
  • The sign-in page now warns that magic links can take a minute, and says so plainly when you've asked for too many.
The gallery opens

  • The pattern gallery is open. Submit a pattern, remix someone else's, and the remix keeps a credited trail back to the original. Every submission is reviewed before it goes up.
  • Shared patterns now play inside a sandboxed player, walled off from the rest of the site, so anyone's code is safe to press play on.

  • Streaks now count days in your own timezone, so an early-morning session no longer lands on yesterday. The database stays awake, too.
The big content day

  • Unit 5 — Texture & Shape — is here: gain, pan, filters, reverb, delay. The curriculum's promised payoff, 7 lessons + test.
  • Unit 4 grew two lessons that got lost on the way to production: .scale() for non-musicians and a .room() teaser.
  • Every code example now has an open_in_strudel link — the pattern travels to the strudel.cc REPL in the URL itself. In practice screens it carries your edited code.
  • Daily Tip bank went from 4 to 18 entries, and the tip's +5 XP is now actually paid out when you take the snippet to the REPL.
  • The weekly streak grid on Home shows your real week now, not a mockup.
  • Read-only examples look read-only (dashed cyan, no caret); the live editor glows green when focused. No more typing into the wrong box.
  • New /events page: algoraves, workshops, and places to perform.
  • Pattern Snapshots: a share link on every practice screen — the code travels inside the URL, and whoever opens it can hear your pattern and step into the lesson it came from.
  • The Strudel Passport: pass a unit, earn a neon stamp. Export it as an image at any stage.
  • Pattern Premiere: the first time you pass Unit 2, your boom-bap plays a 4-bar set on a virtual stage. Once, ever.
  • Privacy and terms pages are up, in plain language.
